Allington is a lovely quilted, padded tweed vest for women. The 100 gram padding will keep you warm most times of the year, whether you wear the vest as an outer garment, or as a thermal mid-layer underneath a jacket or coat. Allington has two comfortable zippered pockets, as well as a zippered inside pocket for safe storage of car keys and so on. The vest has a soft ribbed collar and front button closure. It has a somewhat shaped waist with elastic at the back. There is a tab at the back of the neck for fastening the vest to your jacket, so you can easily wear it as a thermal mid-layer in any jacket.
