At Chevalier, we have long been passionate about inspiring the next generation to discover animals, nature, and hunting. The desire to encourage children to spend more time outdoors – and to experience the fascination of hunting and the natural world – is something we share with hunter, podcaster, and TV personality Daniel da Silva.

Together, we set out to create a collection that allows young explorers to feel both comfortable and properly dressed for the hunt. The result is a range of functional garments designed specifically for children and young people.

When it was time to photograph the Generations by Chevalier collection, Daniel brought his son and daughter to beautiful hunting grounds – the perfect setting to capture the sense of connection and togetherness that their shared passion for hunting and nature creates.

Here, tradition meets innovation, with quality and durability at the forefront. The aim is simple: to make it easier and more enjoyable to experience the forest together, regardless of age.

Daniel shares his thoughts on the collaboration:

“As a hunter and nature lover, there’s nothing better than sharing the forest with my children – seeing their curiosity, letting them learn through experience, and creating memories that last a lifetime. I wanted to help develop garments that make those moments even easier and more comfortable, without compromising on style or function. For me, it’s about passing on a passion for nature through generations – and I hope this collection helps more families experience that magic together. Nature is a place where generations meet. With the Generations collection, it becomes easier and more enjoyable to share those moments.”

Together with our design and product team, Daniel has developed additional garments for children and young people – combining function and style for active days in the forest.

The Generations by Chevalier collection now includes a shirt, a sweatshirt for both adults and children, and a pair of Vintage trousers for juniors. These pieces complement earlier junior favourites such as the Mainstone fleece jacket, the Calf vest, and other classic shirts – all designed with timeless cuts adapted for younger wearers.

“Wearing the same garment as your grandfather or your mum – I hope that inspires even greater curiosity to explore the forest and discover the magic of hunting,” Daniel says.

Teal Light Flannel Shirt Men

The Teal Light Flannel Shirt is a men’s shirt made from lightweight, lightly brushed organic cotton flannel.

It features Chevalier’s regular fit, which is straight and slightly roomier, with pleats across the back for comfortable freedom of movement. The shirt includes a discreet chest pocket and a button-down collar.

A smart detail is the button on the upper sleeve together with an extra buttonhole at the cuff, allowing the sleeve to be easily secured when rolled up.

Vintage Pants Junior

Vintage Pants Junior are the perfect trousers for young adventurers who love animals and the outdoors. The Chevalier Vintage series includes some of our most popular and best-selling garments – and now junior explorers can wear these functional and stylish outdoor trousers as well.

The Vintage Junior trousers are made from an exclusive stretch Italian cotton fabric. The material features a unique coating that gives the surface a slightly waxed appearance, making the trousers both durable and easy to care for. Over time and with regular use, the coating naturally wears down and develops a distinctive patina. Just like the adult version, these trousers only become more beautiful the more they are worn.

Vintage Pants for Women and Men

Vintage Pants are also available for both women and men.

Vintage Pants Women feature straight legs and Chevalier’s classic and flattering saddleback cut. They include two discreet leg pockets for practical storage.

The men’s version features two leg pockets with flaps and magnetic closures, as well as an elastic waistband for added comfort.

Both styles are made from the same exclusive, stretch Italian cotton fabric as the Junior version, designed to develop a unique patina over time. They are particularly appreciated by dog owners, as the fabric makes it easy to brush off dog hair and keep the trousers looking clean.

Mainstone Fleece Jacket for Juniors

The Mainstone Fleece Jacket is one of our most loved garments. Naturally, we wanted junior explorers to have their own version of this Chevalier favourite.

Warm, soft, and comfortable, it features the characteristic slightly higher collar with the Chevalier logo at the back of the neck. Like all our children’s garments, the construction follows Swedish child safety standards, ensuring both comfort and safety for younger wearers.

Don’t Forget Visibility

Make sure children stay visible when joining the hunt. High-visibility orange garments are just as important for young hunters as they are for adults.

An orange beanie is easy to spot, and a high-vis orange vest worn over the fleece jacket provides additional visibility and safety in the field.
