They choose Chevalier because our garments perform in real hunting environments. We choose them because they represent the same respect for nature, craftsmanship and tradition that lies behind every garment we make.

Ambassador Markus Sämmer

Markus Sämmer is a German outdoor chef, cookbook author and passionate hunter. After many years working in professional kitchens in Munich, he chose a different path – combining his love for cooking with a life spent outdoors. Through his book series The Great Outdoors, television appearances and workshops, he inspires people to cook in nature and make the most of ingredients sourced directly from the wild.

Hunting became a natural part of Markus’ journey towards a more conscious and sustainable way of cooking. For him, hunting is not only about serving game on the plate, but about respecting nature, responsible wildlife management and using every part of the animal – from forest to table.

His favourite Chevalier garments are the Loden Jacket and Loden Pants. The natural wool fabric is quiet in movement and performs just as well during a day of hunting as when cooking over an open fire in the forest.

"When I’m out in nature, I want to focus on the experience – the hunt, the food and the people I share it with. Chevalier’s clothing performs in every situation and combines function, tradition and style."

Favourite hunt: Stalking in forests and mountain terrain
Favourite game: Roe deer
Favourite Chevalier garment: Loden Jacket & Loden Pants + Hunter Stretch Zip Hoodie

Ambassador Johannes Thingnes Bö

Johannes Thingnes Bø is one of the world’s most successful biathletes, with multiple Olympic medals and World Championship titles to his name. Growing up in Stryn on the west coast of Norway, he developed a strong connection to nature from an early age. Skiing, hunting and time spent in the mountains have always been a natural part of life for Johannes.

While biathlon has taken him to the very top of international sport, hunting remains an important way for Johannes to slow down and reconnect with nature. For him, time spent in the mountains and forests offers a different kind of focus – one rooted in patience, respect for wildlife and the traditions of the outdoors.

His favourite Chevalier garments are the Pointer Pro Jacket and Pointer Pro Pants. The lightweight, weatherproof construction and quiet fabrics make them ideal for active days in the mountains, where freedom of movement and reliable protection are essential.

"In biathlon everything is about precision and performance. I appreciate clothing that works the same way in the mountains – reliable, functional and built for real conditions. That’s why I choose Chevalier."

Favourite hunt: Mountain hunting and stalking
Favourite hunting partner: His father
Favourite Chevalier garment: Pointer Pro Jacket & Pointer Pro Pants + Ventus Windblocker Jacket

For them, equipment must perform in real situations – during long days in the field and throughout an active outdoor life shared with family.
