How is a Chevalite pant constructed to become waterproof?

Waterproof and windproof pants labeled with Chevalite always have our proprietary, PFAS-free, wind and waterproof Chevalite® membrane laminated on the back. This membrane has excellent water resistance, durability, and breathability. The membrane, along with taped seams and a construction for maximum water drainage, ensures that Chevalite pants are always waterproof and windproof.
